Updates for week #3

A few important reminders & updates for this week.

Team dues & hole sponsors: Please don't forget team dues & information for hole sponsor are due on Tuesday at the team meeting before we get some practice in at Virginia Golf Center on Clifton Road. Everyone's obligation is $150 & we need to get the books squared away so we can pay for our polos, balls, events, etc. If your obligation isn't satisfied by tomorrow, then you will be held out of everything other than practice on the range. That means no practice rounds or events.

Fall sports meeting: The annual fall sports meeting & "meet the coach" night is this Thursday, 8/18 at 6:30pm. The night starts in the auditorium where information will be presented by Mr. Sanabria (our Director of Student Activities) & our athletic trainers. After they are done, there will be breakout sessions for each team. We will meet in my trailer (#18) to talk about the Wildcat Golf Classic on Friday, 8/26, as well as any other topics anyone has questions about. I know I've met many of you already, but it's always good to chat when given the opportunity. For those of you who may skip the auditorium presentation, I would guess we'll be in my trailer sometime between 7:00-7:15pm. I've got the Atomic that afternoon, so I may not be able to make it until after 7:00pm anyway.

Team pictures: Our second order of polos will not be in by team pictures, so I will need all the BOYS who received their polos to bring BOTH polos to team pictures on Friday. Please come to my trailer by 8:15am so we can get organized. I'll be there by 8:00am. My plan is to have the girls wear pink, the Varsity wear grey, & the Varsity prep wear blue. I did the math & we should have enough to loan out so everyone is covered.
