After a one hour lighting delay the game got started. Oakton received the opening kickoff and scored from a 13 yard run. Centreville received the kick and Kyle Richbourg scored a 55yd rushing TD. Oakton received the kickoff but fumbled a few plays later and the ball was recovered by Alex Simmons.  Centreville capitalized off this mistake and scored with a 26 yard run from Julian Garett. Oakton got the kick but fumbled on the first offense play of the drive and Centreville recovered. However Centreville could not convert a 4^th and 1 and Oakton got the ball back. Oakton would score a 1yd rushing touchdown on the first play of the 2^nd Quarter.  The next 3 drives nothing important happened. Oakton received the ball again and scored an 8 yard touchdown pass. At the end of the first half the score was 21-14 Oakton.

Centreville received the 2^nd half kickoff. Centreville converted a 3^rd down but had to settle for a Tyler Gornak field goal. Oakton received the kick but fumbled on their next play but Centreville could not capitalize on this mistake. The next 4 drives were just punts but then Julian Garrett ran for a 41 yard touchdown. Oakton received the kickoff and scored on a 9 yard touchdown run. Centreville could not score with the time remaining on the clock and Oakton won the game.  The final score was 28-24 Oakton. Centreville played well throughout the game but could not score when they needed to. Hopefully, the team can win next week at home vs Herndon.
