Centreville came back home after three away games and played against Herndon with a very large crowd supporting them that were all wearing neon. The game also had meaning because it was the homecoming game. Herndon won the toss and chose to receive the ball in the second half. Centreville received the ball on the 41 yard line and a few plays later Julian Garett scored a 16 yard touchdown run. Herndon received the ball and made it to the 7 yard line but the 1^st Quarter clock ran out on them. However they scored 2 plays later on a 12 yard touchdown pass. Centreville received the ball again and 2 minutes later they were in the end zone. Julian Garett had another long touchdown run. This time for 28 yards. Herndon got the ball back and scored a 25 yard passing touchdown but went for a 2 point conversion and missed it. Centreville had two long pass plays and the second one was a 25 yard touchdown pass to Isaiah Culver from Jameel Siler. Herndon had the first punt of the game so far on their next drive but they got the ball back on an interception a few plays later. Herndon didn’t do anything with this chance and punted again. The clock was running out so Centreville went for a 24 yard field goal which was converted by Tyler Gornak. The score was 24-13 at the end of the first half.

Herndon received the ball but punted the ball. Centreville on their next drive failed a 4^th down conversion attempt and gave Herndon the ball back. Herndon then punted to Centreville and Jameel Siler through a long pass to Isaiah Culver for 75 yards and a touchdown. Herndon went for it on 4^th down and could not convert. Kyle Richbourg was then handed the ball and ran for a 72 yard touchdown. The next two drives were both 4^th down conversions failed but Herndon scored a 4 yard touchdown. The game ended soon after because there was only a minute and a half on the clock. The game ended 38-20 Centreville.

Centreville ended their four game losing streak and hopefully they can keep this momentum going into a huge home game vs rival Westfield.
