Centreville Wildcats 7

Centreville coming off a big win against Chantilly wanted to keep the win streak going on Senior Night. Robinson won the ball and deferred to the second half. Centreville put together a decent drive but turned the ball over on downs. Robinson in five plays scored a 2 yard rushing touchdown. Centreville got the ball back and attempted a fake punt on 4th down but could not convert so Robinson got the ball back. Robinson would score a 4 yard touchdown this time. Centreville received the ball but a few plays later fumbled and Robinson recovered. The defense held Robinson to a 3 and out. Centreville got the ball back and Thomas Joffray was playing Quarterback. Thomas had a long drive down the field but Centreville could not score. Robinson scored on 3 plays on a 3 yard touchdown run. Centreville got the ball back and after a long pass play to Kyle Richbourg and a few short gainers Thomas Joffray scored a 23 yard QB keeper. Robinson got the ball back but kneeled because there were only a few seconds left on the clock. At the end of the 1st half the score was 21-7 Robinson.
Robinson got the ball on kickoff and scored a 15 yard touchdown run a few plays later. Nothing really happened in the 3rd or 4th quarter until Centreville’s last drive. Centreville started at their 29 and marched the ball down the field to thee Robinson 9. They scored a touchdown but it was reversed by a penalty and then time ran out.
This was Centreville last home game for the season. The playoffs start next week against Robinson. Centreville looked good on their last drive. Hopefully they can carry that to next week. Both fan sections and bands were into the game. Hopefully Centreville can change the result form this week and turn it into a win next week with the support of their fans.
