Centreville were hoping to continue their 3-0 start to the season as well as being ranked 19^th in the Washington Post Rankings. The student section was covered in Neon because it was Wildcats vs Cancer day. Centreville entered the field behind the flag bearer, Kobie Turner. The captains for the Game were Julian Garrett, Carter Egbers, Edwin Cespedes, and Deonte Edmonds. Tuscarora won the toss and elected to receive. Tuscarora gained 29 yards on their drive but were forced to punt. On Centreville’s next drive, Deonte Edmonds had a 58 yard run. However, Centreville was forced to punt. Tuscarora would score on their next drive. They had one long pass for 41 yards and then a few plays they scored a 5 yard touchdown. The PAT was good making the score 7-0 Tuscarora with 2:55 left in the 1^st quarter. On 2^nd &15, Julian Garrett ran for 36 yard run. The first quarter would end with the score of 7-0.

Centreville would turn the ball over on downs and Tuscarora would put drive together. Tuscarora scored a 35 yard passing touchdown and the PAT was good.  The score was 14-0 with 5:37 left in the 2^nd quarter. Both teams would punt after going 4 and out. Isaiah Culver caught a 28 yard pass from Jameel Siler. Isiah Culver would catch another pass on4th down for a gain of 10 yards. Centreville would make it to the two yard line but the clock would expire. The first half ended with the score of 14-0.
 

Centreville received the opening kickoff and Isiah Culver returned the ball for 91 yards. Julian Garrett would score on the next play with a 4 yard run. The score was 14-7 with 11:39 left in the third quarter.  Tuscarora would score after six plays with a 54 yard touchdown. The score would become 21-7 with 8:37 left in the 3^rd quarter.  Tuscarora would receive the ball again after the kickoff was fumbled.  Tuscarora would put together a drive that would be stopped by Marco Tillard’s sack on 4^th down.    Centreville would receive the ball and on3rd down Kobie Turner caught a pass for 40 yards. On 3^rd and 19 Isiah Culver made an amazing catch and scored a touchdown. The score was 21-14 with 2:18 left.    After a few plays the 3^rd quarter would end with a score of 21-14.

Tuscarora would put together a drive and Centreville’s defense would stop them on a goal line drive. Tuscarora would attempt a field goal but it would be blocked and returned for about 20 yards by Dylan Cooper. Both teams would punt giving Centreville one more chance to tie the game up. Deonte Edmonds would catch a pass for 52 yards. Centreville had the ball at their 20 yard line but it would be intercepted but Tuscarora would be tackled by Jameel Siler. The final score was 21-14 Tuscarora.  

The fans were into the game the entire time and they continued to support their team. Centreville’s next game will be at home against Lake Braddock.
