Centreville was hoping to keep their number 1 state rank by beating their rivals Westfield. The captains for the game were Isaiah Culver, Julian Garrett, Deonte Edmonds, and Tyler Lohman. Westfield won the toss and deferred to the second half. Both Centreville and Westfield would go 4 and put on their first drives. Centreville has two nice runs, one by Jameel Siler for 7 yards and a first down and the other from Julian Garrett for 14 yards.  However, Centreville would later punt on the drive. Westfield would be forced to punt and Centreville would get the ball back at the 11 yard line. Before they could get their drive together the quarter would end at the score of 0-0.

On the first play of the second quarter, Centreville would turn the ball over through an interception and Westfield would score a few plays later making the score 7-0 Westfield with 9:01 left in the first half.   Centreville would be forced to punt on their next drive. Westfield had a touchdown canceled by a penalty and Marco Tillard Had a sack but Westfield would still score. The score was now 14-0 with 3:13 left. On Centreville’s next drive they would push toward the end zone. On third down, Westfield had a roughing the passer call that gave Centreville another first down. On third and nine, Tariq Badie had a twenty yard run which have Centreville the ball on their 43 yard line. Westfield had another penalty which gave Centreville the ball on the Bulldog’s 22 yard line but Centreville couldn’t convert a 4^th and 10 and the clock expired on the next play. The score was 14-0 Westfield at the end of the 1^st half.

Westfield started with the ball and would be stopped on third down after a sack by Tre Maxwell. Centreville would get the ball back and get a first down. On 3rd down Centreville went for it and Jameel Siler took a big hit. He didn’t return to the game but he walked off the field. Westfield would get the ball and score again making the score 21-0. Centreville would be forced to punt again and Westfield would score again. It was now 28-0 with 5:29 left.  Centreville would turn the ball over and Westfield would score for the last time. It was 35-0 with 3:01 left. Centreville would have a bi run from Mark Brown. He ran for 45 yards but Centreville would turn the ball over and the 3^rd quarter would end 35-0.

Westfield would be forced to punt and Centreville would put together a drive but would turn the ball over on downs and Westfield would knee to end the game.

The team supported each other until the end and the fans were into the game throughout. Centreville’s next game is their Senior Night at home versus Chantilly.
