HERNDON: 0
The Wildcats were on the winning end of a thrilling game against Herndon Wednesday night! The Cats jumped out to an early 1-0 lead and were able to hold off Herndon's offense the rest of the way. The second half saw Herndon on Centreville side of the field the majority of the time and our defense held strong. The Cats defended 11 corners through out out the night, with the majority of those coming in the second half.
Goalie Kylie LeBlanc had 5 saves and was successful in knocking down a Herndon penalty stroke late in the second half.
Nicole Kang had Centreville's lone goal, on an assist from Paige Richbourg.
The Wildcats will be back on the field October 8, at Thomas Jefferson HS.
