The Girls Varsity Lacrosse season is off to a great start! The Wildcats opened their season at home last night with a decisive win over Briar Woods. Scoring was a team effort, with Elizabeth Murphy leading the charge with 8 goals. She was followed by Emily Marciano with 4 goals and 3 assists, Jaimi Pollack with 4 goals and 1 assist, Paige Richbourg with 2 goals and 3 assists, Jamie Chang with 2 goals and 3 assists, Julie Vo with 2 goals and Kelly Hyde with 1 goal.
The goalies for Centreville combined for 9 saves on the night, Stephanie Zempolich had 3 saves and Marissa Lawrence had 6 saves.
The girls play a tournament this Saturday (3/19) at Annandale HS: Langley at 8:30 am, Paul VI at 10:30 am and Annandale at 1:00 pm.
