This is an combined event with spring track and field! I look forward to see everyone June, 8th at 5:30pm at the Centreville Cafeteria. .

The District Championship meet today  (DAY 3) is canceled and all running events will be this Wednesday at Chantilly HS. The running events start at 2 pm on Wednesday. You will have an early release. I will have/ask for a bus to get us over there if need be!

We will practice today at 3:30 pm !!!!

PS:  The track is covered with some ice we are told at Chantilly HS!

The following modifications have been made to the District Championship Scheduled because of the impending bad weather this week:

Wednesday, 1-26-22                                           Pole vault and HJ   at Chantilly HS  4:30 pm

Thursday, 1-27-22                                               All Field Events/4x800m relay  at South Lakes HS   2:30 pm

Monday,   1-31-22                                               55H, 55, 4x200m relay,, 1600,500m at Chantilly HS  2:30 pm

Tuesday or Wednesday 2-1 or 2-22                   1000, 300, 3200,4x400m relay

I will have an official schedule and program out when I get it!

We thank everyone for the time and effort given to the Indoor Season. Covid and the poor weather negatively affected our season and we hope to be indoors again 2022-23! Hopefully, you will be prepared for Spring tryouts and we helped you to achieve your goals.

Good Evening Wildcat Family:

Happy New Years and i hope your holiday was a joyous and relaxing one! 

I waited until we confirmed new information on the remainder of our Indoor T&F season!

First, our meet at TJ on 1/8/22 in Arlington have been canceled because of the rise in COVID-19!

Also, our District Championship at PG Sports and Learning Center has been canceled.

As of today, we will have our District Championship on  

Wed Jan 26-Pole Vault & 4 X 800M Relay

Sat Jan 29-All other events at Chantilly HS. The time will be announced later!

Long Jump, Triple Jump and HJ do not need a mark to participate in the championship. All running events and shot need to have a verified time or mark!

WE WILL RESUME PRACTICE ONCE WE ARE CLEARED WITH THE IMPENDING WEATHER. ANOTHER MEET WAS SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY BUT THE WEATHER IS NOT GOING TO ALLOW IT! We will have an extra week to get another meet in now and will update as needed!

Again, Happy New Year and I look forward to seeing everyone back to work when we are given permission!

Those that purchased uniforms will be about to pick them up before you leave today for our meet! We will hand them out by our cage in the athletic hallway before the 1st bus leaves.

We will not be bringing any uniforms to the meet today or tomorrow!

We plan to start passing them out at 3pm!

Good morning Wildcat Family:

Our 2nd indoor T&F meet is Tomorrow at TJMS. This is an indoor meet in which you must wear your mask when not competing! THERE IS NO FOOD OR DRINKS IN THE INFIELD AREA... (JUST WATER AND SPORT DRINK(HIDDEN) WILL BE ALLOWED. I recommend that you bring a food bar or eat something lite before the meet.

1st bus leaves at 3:30 pm...only the 1st 4x800 (G/B) varsity 55m runners (G/B) and coach Finalle will instruct who else will get on the bus. We are sharing with the girl's basketball team! So, if any parents are driving their child to the meet, just let me know !

The 2nd bus will leave at 4:45pm..that is the best the school (FCPS) can do At this point!

THE MEETS STARTS AT 5:30 PM WITH THE 4X800M RELAY!

WE WILL NEED AT LEAST 5 PARENTS TO ASSIST WITH THIS MEET.

TJMS= THOMAS JEFFERSON MIDDLE SCHOOL AND REC CENTER IN ARLINGTON, VA. CLOSE TO W-L HIGH SCHOOL!

This Saturday is our first meet of the season! It will be at Chantilly HS. The field events start at 10 am and running events start at 10:30 am! Dress warm and eat something light before you arrive. The bus is leaving at 9 am and schedule to return by 2:30 pm.

Spirit Wear is scheduled to be here by next week! I will confirm with the vendor!
