Centreville 3 Mclean 2 4/11/16 Centreville was hoping to rebound from the loss at Oakton. The starters were Caroline Barnes, Lindsey Hendrickson, Katie Le, Georgia Kikis, Grace Mondloch, Jam Odeh, Cassidy Brown, Rachel Fisher, Casey Peterson, Ashley Anderson, and Jordi Abramczyk. Centreville starts with the ball and Centreville just passed the ball around attempting to keep possession. Mclean had the first shot but it was saved by Caroline Barnes. Mclean had a shot that Caroline Barnes hit but the ball still went it to the back of the net and Mclean was winning 1-0. Katie Le and Jordi Abramczyk played a 1,2 pass and Katie Le won a penalty kick. Ashley Anderson took the Penalty kick and hit it wide left. Centreville and Mclean had a few chances each with a few set pieces and a few shots form open play. Aleigh Gambone passed the ball across the box to Ashley Anderson who scored the goal. Kat Bennett shielded a Mclean player off the ball and the half ended 1-1. Mclean stated the half with the ball. Casey Peterson crossed in by Casey Peterson and Katie Le controls the ball and turns in and slots the ball in the goal. 2-1 Centreville. Centreville had a lot of chances but could not get another goal. Centreville had a lot of throw-ins in great places and corner kicks. After a few chances for Centreville Mclean had chances that pressured Centreville. Centreville received a free kick after a Mclean foul and Lindsay Hendrickson took the free kick and scored with the ball going right under the crossbar. 3-1 Centreville. Mclean got a long throw and Centreville got a hand ball in the box and Mclean received a penalty kick. The game ended soon after this penalty save form Caroline Barnes who dived the right way.
