Centreville came off a tough loss to Stone Bridge last game. Tonight Diljot Kochhar, Vinny Thota, William Unterkofler, Brendan Doyle and Christian Brooks started for the Wildcats. Centreville won the tip off but J. E.B. Stuart opened the scoring with a 3 pointer.  Centreville followed with a three pointer of their own from Diljot Kochhar. The fouls started early and continued to the end. In the first quarter there were 7 fouls which amounted to most of the points scored in the quarter. At the end of the first half the score was 12-11 J.E.B. Stuart.  
In the second quarter Centreville got outplayed and only managed to score 6 points. J.E.B. Stuart did not do much better only scoring 10. The fouls in this quarter were even higher totaling 13. Again many of the points were off free throws, especially toward the end of the half.  The second quarter ended with a score of 17-22 J.E.B Stuart.
Centreville came out of the locker room ready to win and started the quarter on an 11- 2 run. Centreville tied up the score and the crowd went crazy. Centreville had not lead since the first few minutes of the game. At the end of the quarter the score was 32-38 Centreville.
The fourth quarter was the best and most intense quarter the game was close throughout especially towards the end. J.E.B. Stuart made their way back in the game and took the lead. However, William Unterkofler scored a few seconds later and reclaimed the lead. The game from there was very tense. Centreville  managed to hold on by 3 points, with a  huge Block by Brendan Doyle in the closing seconds.   The final score was 42-39.
Centreville got their first home win of the season behind a large student section cheering them on throughout the entire game. The fans enjoyed the game and cheered for their team. The Wildcats play two more games before Winter Break.  Tuesday at home versus Broad Run and Friday at Briar Woods.  Both games are scheduled to start at 7:15 PM.
