Centreville were hoping to continue their strong season and win against their rivals, Westfield. The starters for game were Marcus Mack, Nathaniel Goldhammer, Caleb Emeogo, Bryce Douglas, and Tyler Lohman.  Tyler Lohman was on the tip off, but Westfield won the tip. Centreville started off with two steals and one by Bryce Douglas led to the first points of the game. Centreville continued to score, scoring the first 8 points of the game. These points included a two from Nathaniel Goldhammer and Marcus Mack.  Westfield would end the quarter by scoring 4 points. The 1st quarter would end with a score of 8-4.

Westfield started and Westfield scored 10 straight points to start the quarter. However Centreville stuck with the Bulldogs and Bryce Douglas scored two points to cut Westfield’s lead. The next moment happened when Nathaniel Goldhammer blocked a Westfield shot and Marcus Mack quickly scored a three pointer after. Westfield ended the half scoring a two with the score 16-13 in favor of Westfield.

Centreville started the 3rd quarter with the ball and scored the first points after a 2 from Nathaniel Goldhammer. Marcus Mack would score next with two free throws.  Westfield and Centreville would both score twice next highlighted by a Marcus Mack 3 pointer. Westfield would then score back to back three pointers to increase their lead. The quarter ended after a Westfield foul with the score of 26-23 in favor of Westfield.

Westfield would score the first points of the 4th quarter, but Centreville and Caleb Emeogo would cut Westfield’s lead when he hit a three pointer. Centreville would call a time out and Tyler Lohman would score a two pointer cutting Westfield’s lead to 1. Westfield hit one free throw increasing their lead, but that point was matched when Bryce Douglas hit a free throw. He also hit one more which tied the game. Centreville took the lead after a Nathaniel Goldhammer 2 pointer, but Westfield would score two of their own. Westfield and Centreville would score two points each with Centreville coming from Nathanael Goldhammer which gave Centreville a 1 point lead with 13.4 seconds left. Bryce Douglas was called for a foul with 7.4 seconds left and Westfield hit both shots. Bryce Douglas received the ball and scored a two pointer with 0.01 seconds left on the clock giving Centreville the 36-35 win.
