Concorde Final

 

Centreville was hoping to win the Concorde finals since the first time since 2001. The starters were Marcus Mack, Nathaniel Goldhammer, Caleb Emeogo, Bryce Douglas, and Tyler Lohman.  Tyler Lohman was on the tip off and Chantilly won it. Chantilly would score first, but soon after Caleb Emeogo would intercept the pass and Marcus Mack would score two. Marcus Mack would score again after a nice drive to the basket. Marcus Mack would then be fouled and score both free throws. Chantilly would then score 8 straight. Caleb Emeogo scored Centreville’s next points. Chantilly would score two more times in the first quarter with Bryce Douglas scoring once for Centreville. The first quarter ended 16-10 in favor of Chantilly. 

Centreville started with the ball with Bryce Douglas scoring a free throw to start the scoring. Chantilly and Centreville would score a few points. The next major thing was when Marcus Mack hit a two and a three back to back cutting Chantilly’s lead. Nathaniel Goldhammer then scored two, and was fouled but he missed the free throw. Chantilly would end the 2nd quarter on a 13-0 run giving them a big lead going into halftime. The 1st half was 32-21 Chantilly.

Centreville stared with the ball again. Bryce Douglas would score two free throws to start the scoring off for the 3rd quarter. Bryce Douglas would score another free throw. Chantilly would score once and then Nathanael Goldhammer would score for Centreville. Chantilly would score twice and then Bryce Douglas would score again for Centreville. Chantilly would score again, and they would call a timeout leading 38-28 with 2:11 left in the 3rd quarter. Chantilly would score two more times in the quarter, but Centreville would start a comeback and score three. Chris Martin would hit a three pointer; Caleb Emeogo would score two and a free throw. The third quarter ended with a score of 41-34 in favor of Chantilly.

Chantilly started with the ball but Tyler Lohman would score first. Both Chantilly and Centreville would score three with Marcus Mack scoring for Centreville. Coach Harris called a timeout with Chantilly leading by 5 with 6:41 left in the game.  Chris Martin would score the next points cutting Chantilly’s lead to 3. Bryce Douglas would hit two free throws giving Chantilly a 1 point lead. Centreville would be fouled again. Bryce Douglas hit one free throw to tie the game and another to take the lead from Chantilly. Marcus Mack would extend Centreville’s lead. Chantilly would tie the game back up, but Bryce would be fouled again and he would again hit both free throws. Chris Martin would block a shot and then score a free throw to maintain Centreville’s lead.  Marcus Mack would score once and Tyler Lohman would score twice to Make Centreville lead by 10. Bryce Douglas would score again to extend the lead. Centreville and Chantilly would both score a few more points by Centreville would win the game with a total of 62 points compared to Chantilly’s 51.
