Centreville 1 Herndon 1 4/14/16 Centreville was hoping to continue their winning streak against Herndon. The starters were Nicholas Winans, Drew Lawrence, Javier Lopez, Steven Kim, Natnael Digafe, Collin Harrell, Joseph Azzouz, Ramez Bakhtari, John Hott and Bruno Saucedo. Centreville started with the ball and had the first chance from a free kick. Centreville was pressing early against Herndon and had a few chances to score. Herndon and Centreville traded chances for most of the first half until Herndon committed a foul. Centreville got a free kick and Natnael Digafe took the kick and crossed in to Drew Lawrence scored off the header. 1-0 Centreville. After this the pressure died down for a little bit until Herndon received a pass in the box and scored. 1-1 end of the 1st half. Herndon started the ball and Centreville had the first chance when the cross was caught the ball. The second half was back and forth soccer for the entirety of the half which allowed for chances for both teams. Both teams had a few free kicks either the shot missed or the goalkeeper collected the ball. The second half ended 1-1 and overtime started. Herndon started with the ball and started the first half of overtime with two corner kicks. Both were not a threat. Then, Centreville had a free kick but it was cleared and the first half of overtime was over. The second half was more of the same with back and forth soccer with a few chacnes for either team but no shots. The game ended 1-1.
